Life Commitment Ceremonies

A Commitment Ceremony is an ideal celebration for couples that wish to commit to sharing their lives together without the legalities of a marriage ceremony.  Some are unable to marry under law, and others prefer the simplicity of a Commitment Ceremony.

Whatever the reason, the occasion is just as important and meaningful as a legal ceremony.

A beautiful certificate will be presented to the couple to commemorate their special day as well as a copy of the ceremony.

It is a very special time in a couple’s life when they

decide to commit to each other and they often choose to formally recognise this commitment and publicly declare their devotion before family and friends in the form of a commitment ceremony.

Apart from the absence of a marriage certificate, it can be as close to “the real thing” as the couple wishes: from wedding gown, rings and a host of guests at a big party, to a quiet, intimate gathering with a few friends and loved ones sharing in the special moment.

Same Sex couples, too, can express their life-long commitment to each other in a ceremony anywhere from a wonderfully quiet and intimate gathering to a full "bells-and-whistles" affair with a hoard of guests, the choice is theirs.

Whatever you decide, Deborah Roffey will help you plan a wonderful and remarkable ceremony that encompasses the individuality of the couple and the spirit of the occasion.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart."

Helen Keller
